These terms apply when you buy from Cedar Food Group through cedarfoodgroup.com.au. Please read them before you place an order. By placing an order you agree to them.
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See section 10.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract. You must give us a correct delivery address inside our delivery area. See our Delivery page for the areas we cover.
You do not need an account to order, but if you make one you are responsible for keeping your password private and for anything done using your login. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account.
We sell fresh meat and grocery items. Fresh meat is a natural product, so please note:
All of our fresh meat is halal and certified. Certifying body: Australian Federation of Islamic Councils INC. Certificate number: 20190242
For our grocery and frozen items, we aim to stock halal options wherever possible, though this may vary by product. Products tagged "Halal" on this site are the products we supply as halal. Grocery, pantry, and imported items are supplied as they come from the manufacturer, and you should read the packaging if halal status matters to you. If you are unsure about any item, please contact us before you order.
Our products are handled in a facility that also handles other meats and may handle allergens. We cannot guarantee that any product is free from cross contact. If you have a serious allergy, please contact us before ordering.
Fresh meat must be refrigerated as soon as it arrives, and frozen if you will not use it within a few days. We are not responsible for product that spoils because it was left out after delivery or collection.
If a product is priced by weight and the final weight differs slightly from what was ordered, we absorb minor differences and will not adjust your charge.
Your order is an offer to buy. Our contract with you starts only when we send you an order confirmation email. Until then we may decline an order, for example if:
If we decline or cancel your order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
Delivery areas, fees, cut off times and collection hours are set out on our Delivery page, which forms part of these terms.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
If something arrives damaged, spoiled, short, or is not what you ordered, contact us within 24 hours of delivery at info@cedarfoodgroup.com.au with your order number and a photo if you can. We will replace the item, credit you or refund you.
Change of mind. Because fresh meat is perishable and cannot be resold once it leaves our premises we cannot accept returns simply because you changed your mind. This does not affect your rights in section 10.
You can cancel or change an order before the daily cut off time shown on our Delivery page. After cut off, your order is already being packed and we may not be able to change it. Contact us as soon as possible and we will do what we can.
Wholesale enquiries go through our wholesale form, not through checkout. Wholesale supply is covered by a separate agreement, and these terms do not apply to it except where we say so in writing.
All text, photos, recipes, logos and artwork on this site belong to Cedar Food Group or our licensors. You may look at them and share links to them. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.
Recipes and cooking times on this site are given as a guide only. Please use a thermometer and follow safe food handling practice.
Please do not try to break into the site, scrape it, overload it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that does.
We are not liable for a delay or failure caused by something outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, road closures, a vehicle breakdown, a power or internet outage, industrial action, or a supply failure. If that happens we will contact you and offer a new delivery day, a credit or a refund.
Subject to section 10, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any one order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or lost business.
We handle your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
